Covid-19 / Coronavirus update

covid 19 coronavirus update

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 / Coronavirus pandemic, I have stopped offering face-to-face consultations and all training classes until further notice.

The class schedule on my website should be taken as "information only", and may change at short notice.

New Zealand is on lockdown and we're under self-isolation until at least the end of April; and maybe longer.

I am still able to offer on-line/Skype/Zoom consultations; please ask.

Thank you for your understanding and let's all stay safe.

The world according to John - my Blog

Do you know what it is to be impervious to negativity?

You know what they say... "Never assume". Well, I always assumed that impervious was a run-of-the-mill English word that every (native-speaker) knew and understood. Well, I was wrong.

One of my "favourite" ThetaHealing downloads is:

I live my day-to-day life impervious to the negative thoughts and actions of others.

imperviousWhich is actually a really good, really powerful download, provided you know what impervious means!

Essentially, it means not affected by - but in ThetaHealing you can't use NOT in a download. The textbook definition of impervious is:

adjective

unable to be affected by.
"he worked, apparently impervious to the heat"

synonyms: unaffected by, untouched by, immune to, invulnerable to, insusceptible to, not susceptible to, proof against, unreceptive to, closed to, resistant to, indifferent to, heedless of, unresponsive to, oblivious to, unmoved by, deaf to
"he seemed impervious to the chill wind"

Time and time again, I get clients come to me who've taken on other people's issues, their doubts, etc., and just want to shake them off. This is where this download comes in. You can use it as a daily affirmation when you get up, when you feel other people's "stuff" coming your way, etc. Sometimes, even just using this download can be enough on its own.

I hope you find it as useful as I (and my clients) have.
